  • Ability to calculate the Net Present Value, Life Cycle Cost, IRR, SIR and Simple Payback for typical projects.
  • Ability to choose the best metric to gain approval for your projects.
  1. Awareness of – Energy Audit process and Objectives; System strategies
  2. Gain understanding about Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) Operations Certification; Energy Assessment Principles; Energy Benchmarking;
  • Ability to – differentiate various levels of Energy Audits;
  • Ability to – prepare for audit activities; review onsite measurement and data collection; understand energy bill components & calculate energy bills.
  1. Understand Types of Energy Saving measures;
  • Able to use different Energy Saving Opportunities (ESOs) in Building Fabric; Lighting System;
  • Able to Implement different Energy Saving Opportunities (ESOs) in Heating Ventilating and Airconditioning Systems; Domestic Hot Water system
  1. Develop the understanding of Control Terminologies; Control Principles;
  • Able to utilise the ESOs for building controls; Building Management System;
  • Able to write a good Audit report by understanding the sections and contents of Audit Report;
  1. Understand MARS principle; decarbonization of buildings;
  • Able to utilise the Energy Audit resources; Templates
  1. Develop the understanding about various type of energy performance contracts
  • Able to determine which M&V approach is best for an ECM as per IPMVP
  • Able to Implement the Energy Audit principles in building, district cooling project’s by following the steps, procedure, data analysis, perform savings calculations, understand challenges, write audit report.
