Creativity and Innovation at Work

Introduction:

An organization’s success depends on employees’ ability to think, adapt and respond to change; to turn creative thinking into innovative action. Creativity alone is not enough. Whole brain thinking is a synthesis of analytical and creative thinking, which is a powerful practical and intuitive force to drive change and innovation. Two conditions are required to generate the greatest amount of corporate creativity. First: the customer is at the center of an organization’s business and second: people possess the self-confidence and autonomy to respond creatively to the problem. Everyone has untapped creative talent which, when harnessed, can bring positive results and business benefits. The skill is in capturing the talent.

Course Objectives:

• Understand the importance of identifying and clarifying issues to be resolved
• Obtain techniques to identify the “real” problem and magnitude of impact
• Learn how to find the root cause of a problem
• Master creative thinking techniques to develop options and novel solutions

This course will include a video of the CEO presenting on flipchart the key learning points of Creativity & Innovation, and key actions to develop in your role and your career. The aim is to greatly increase the learning outcomes.

Measurement of Progress

Each team member completing this course will complete a post questionnaire or test to measure level of understanding. Once a 75% and above success is achieved a successful completion certificate will be generated. Post training reviews will be provided either by a Video Conference or a report depending on the requirements set by the customer, which will monitor progress, and reflect on the learning, and positive feedback.
