Introduction:

This course has been designed to increase performance in Leadership and Management, and the following competencies are key modules covered throughout this course;

Day 1 (4 to 6 hrs) – You will learn:

  • About your Leadership style and how to adapt it to become a more effective Leader in key areas;
  • Leading Change
  • Setting a clear and concise vision
  • Leadership styles for situations, and how to get the best out of your people
  • How your communication and behaviour affects how others respond to you
  • The style of leadership you use and several other styles, which you may adopt in certain situations to get the best out of your people
  • The four stages of situational leadership discover how to use them in order to maximise your people’s potential
  • How to empower, retain and motivate staff
  • How to free your time to manage or lead with greater effect
  • What John Adair suggests should be your main priorities, when building your team
  • How to create your Vision & Values to help people focus on the way forward

Day 2 (4 to 6 hrs) – You will learn:

  • How to use the “Coping Cycle” to plan and prepare for change
  • The eight key steps needed to be taken to implement change within your business effectively
  • What coaching is?
  • How to use the GROW technique in order to maximize your coaching technique
  • Performance Management, and appraisal techniques

This course will include a video of the CEO presenting on flipchart the key learning points of Leadership and Management, and key actions to introduce into your work and personal life. The aim is to greatly increase the learning outcomes.

Measurement of Progress

Each team member completing this course will complete a post questionnaire or test to measure level of understanding. Once a 75% and above success is achieved a successful completion certificate will be generated. Post training reviews will be provided either by a Video Conference or a report depending on the requirements set by the customer, which will monitor progress, and reflect on the learning, and positive feedback.
